Etherwallis anopen source network security tool,serves to discourage ManInThe Middle (MITM) through ARP Spoofing/Poisoning attacks.It also prevents from various attacks such assniffing, hijacking, Netcut, DNS Spoofing, DHCP spoofing, andothers.

tutorial step by step:

1. Perform installation arptables package, in order to facilitate etherwall to monitor incoming and outgoing access points in your network, with the command:
apt-get install arptables
2. Then, download the package etherwall:
wget http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/etherwall/Linux/1.0/etherwall-1.0.BETA3.tar.gz
3. Then do extract the tar.gz file to begin the installation etherwall:
tar zfvx etherwall-1.0.BETA3.tar.gz
4. Then, after extracting the files etherwall, then go into the folder to execute the installation:
cd etherwall-1.0.BETA3
5. Then look at the contents of the folder with the command:
ls
7. Upon entering and seeing the contents inside the folder etherwall, then it is time to install, but before it gave permission first, so that the installation can be done without problems:
chmod +x install.sh
8. installation etherwall:
./install.sh
